The Indiana Supreme Court has set Dec. 11 as the execution date for a man convicted of the 1994 slayings of his estranged wife and two of her relatives in Evansville.
The court said Tuesday that Matthew Eric Wrinkles, 49, has exhausted his state and federal appeals and is not entitled to another appeal of his death sentence.
Court spokeswoman Kathryn Dolan said Wrinkles still could ask Gov. Mitch Daniels for clemency.
